Ahead of the premiere of RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars 3, Ru stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert to give him the tea on the intricate lingo Ru and many of the queens use on the show.

Across the nine seasons of Drag Race and two completed seasons of All Stars, the show has developed a lingo and cycle of in-jokes and meta-references that permeates into wider pop culture as the show continues to find newer audiences.

After Drag Race moved from Logo to VH1 the audience from season 8 with about 1.2 million viewers per episode.
Ru appeared on The Late Show on his wedding anniversary, his husband Georges LeBar was waiting backstage. The pair has been together since 1994 and married in January last year.
In the clip, Ru explains to Colbert what popular phrases like "spilling tea" or "squirrel friend" mean, while also popping in a few "okurrrs".

Though it is important to note most people attribute "Okurrrr" to the house of Edwards' Laganga Estranga, it can more properly be traced back to the viral masterpiece  featuring Laura Bell Bundy's character Shocantelle Brown. And certainly .

This isn't the first time Ru has joined Colbert, back in 2016 the Late Show host .

All Stars begins today, with several fan-favourites coming back to the competition including Trixie Mattel who would shoot episodes of All Stars in between filming episodes of the Trixie and Katya Show.
