Huge news for Sir Elton John this week, as he announced that his next world tour would be his last, bringing an end to over 50 years of touring.
The 70-year-old told a news conference in New York on Wednesday that his priorities have changed after he and husband David Furnish became parents to two children.
"In 2015 we sat down with their school schedule and we said 'I'm going to miss too much of this'," John explained to CNN's Anderson Cooper.
Despite telling Cooper, "I can't go on forever," John also said the end to his touring didn't mean an end to it all, saying he still wanted to record new albums.
John also launched the tour with a VR180 experience which you can watch below (if you're after the actual music and Elton action it kicks in at about 12 minutes).
Don't worry about missing out, either. The final tour, called "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" will start in September 2018 in the USA and will go for four years, ending in 2021.
The worldwide tour will consist of over 300 shows across five continents, with shows in Australia and New Zealand being announced as the tour rolls out in the upcoming months.
