This Belgian high-concept sci- thriller starring Monic Hendrickx (Penoza) takes place in the near future where citizens’ rights and entitlements are determined by their Citizen Scores. We follow the life of a law-abiding family whose score allows them to live the good life. But, everything changes when it's revealed that the father has been falsifying scores to keep his family safe and is banished from Arcadia to the outside world. The family have their scores slashed and are put under surveillance. The question now is - can they get their old lives back. This dystopian thriller posts questions about the state of democracy in the world today and with season 2 in production, you won't want to miss it.

Based on the "Leaphorn & Chee" novel series by Tony Hillerman, this psychological thriller is a unique, gripping and mysterious police procedural. The year is 1971 on a remote outpost of the Navajo Nation near Monument Valley. Lieutenant Joe Leaphorn of the Tribal Police is besieged by a series of seemingly unrelated crimes. The closer he digs to the truth, the more he exposes the wounds of his past. He is joined by his new deputy, Jim Chee. On the path to salvation, the two men battle the forces of evil, each other, and their own personal demons.

Taskmaster alumni Bridget Christie leads this new sharp British comedy series. Linda (Christie), a 50-year-old working class married mother of two, is having an existential crisis. Who is she? What is she? Is this it? Convinced she's got early onset dementia after forgetting what a shoe is called, Linda's GP informs her it is, in fact, the menopause. Feeling invigorated and empowered by this information, Linda decides to do something for herself... for a change. Dusting off her old Triumph motorbike that she hasn't ridden in 30 years, Linda sets off alone to the spectacular wilderness of The Forest of Dean - in search of an identity, a purpose, and the tree she climbed as a child. Along the way she meets an array of eccentric locals and a mysterious man who lives in the woods with a wild boar. What could possibly go wrong?

Crime - season 1

Dougray Scott stars as DI Ray Lennox in this gripping police procedural based on the 2008 novel of the same name by Irvine Walsh (Trainspotting). Lennox becomes the lead investigator in the case of a missing seven-year-old girl. Was it someone close to her? Or could she have been taken by a killer called Mr Confectioner, who was caught, but Lennox believes they got the wrong man. Is he right? As Lennox and his colleagues try to find out what happened he also battles his own personal demons and in-fighting within the police department. Don't miss Scott's nuanced performance as the lead detective and troubled addict, he won the International Emmy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal in 2022.

Frances is in her early 20s and lives in Dublin, where she attends Trinity College with her best friend, Bobbi. Despite having previously dated during school, the pair have remained close, and perform poetry together occasionally. Cracks begin to appear in their relationship when they befriend successful writer Melissa, and her actor husband Nick, and start spending more time with the older couple. As Frances finds herself in an intense affair with Nick, her friendship with Bobbi– and sense of self – are challenged. A stellar adaptation of Sally Rooney's debut best-selling novel.

Conversations with Friends airs weekly on SBS VICELAND with double episodes from Saturday 23 September at 9:20pm and triple episodes from Saturday 14 October. Episodes are available to stream at SBS On Demand for a limited time after broadcast.

While the men are off fighting in WWII, the people who have been excluded from power are suddenly running the show. Two Women’s Land Army recruits from Sydney arrive in the country and undergo a heady course in race relations, rural politics, spirituality, sex, and personal growth - oh, and farming. This SBS Original series is about people who don’t normally hold the reins of power suddenly having them shoved in their hands and told to giddy the hell up. It’s about five individuals who find each other, and for a glorious moment in time, sample a life tinged with promise and hope and acceptance. And once they taste it, it’s impossible to go back.

Inspector Chantal Vantomme starts a new life with her daughter Emma as the coordinator of a small and rural police office. In Loveringem, aka the Farwest of Flanders, the apparent tranquillity does not guarantee less crime; people are used to taking matters into their own hands. Chantal plans on taking the exam to become Chief Commissioner and move to a bigger town. But as is often the case with pre-set plans, reality turns out differently. This Flemish language Belgian series is winning combination of a workplace comedy and police procedural.

Lily, 11 years old, disappears at her mother's birthday party. That same evening, a little boy, Diego, has strange visions linked to the tragedy which alert the police captain and, above all, his wife, Sarah, a young psychologist. A special bond will soon link Diego to the young woman, especially as the child also seems to be linked to obscure elements of her past. This French series is a clever combination between family drama, paranormal and investigation.
