Not short of opinions, how will his family react? His father is the type to vote Republican if it means receiving an economic stimulus payment, his mother is always right with Jesus and his brother has bright ideas on tap. This comedy comes with a twist, not afraid to discuss issues such as mass shootings, whether it’s okay to still like Bill Cosby’s comedy and obtaining consent from a woman before sex. But when the system starts to go awry, users become murderous, and the inventor’s family are driven apart in their struggle to control the monster that’s been unleashed.
From the writer of The Walking Dead, a strong ensemble cast helms this sci-fi dystopia set in near-future London, including David Thewlis (Harry Potter, Fargo), Michelle Fairley (Game of Thrones, Fortitude) and Guy Burnet (Counterpart).
Trigonometry
From Britain comes relationship drama Trigonometry in which three people come together to help make ends meet in modern-day London. When loving couple Gemma and Kieran welcome Ray into their flat, their economics aren’t the only thing to be enhanced. This series explores whether three people can make a go of it.
Starring Gary Carr (Downton Abbey, Death In Paradise), Ariane Labed (The Lobster) and Thalissa Teixeira, from co-writers acclaimed playwright Duncan Macmillian and Effie Woods, the show’s executive producers are BAFTA winners Tessa Ross and Juliette Howell.

The Salisbury Poisonings
This incredible four-part series is based on the real-life 2018 assassination attempt on double agent and spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in the UK. Soon after the attack, it was discovered that a lethal nerve agent called Novichok was used, just half a teaspoon of which could kill 20,000 people, sending the local community into turmoil. Local policeman Nick Bailey and Head of Public Health Tracy Daszkiewicz worked exclusively with producers to capture the fear, uncertainty and immense heroism of the community who ultimately rose to the challenge of overcoming a lethal contagion. Very inspiring stuff, coming at just the right time, too.

Hungry Ghosts
An original SBS series, Hungry Ghosts is a four-part supernatural-drama-horror with touches of humour in the storytelling.
