We are rapidly approaching the pointy end of season three of The Handmaid's Tale, and things are getting serious: June is becoming more ambitious in her plans to save the children of Gilead; and Fred and Serena are escalating their own ambitious plans to retrieve baby Nichole from Canada.
The trajectory of these storylines look set to make for a cracking season finale on Thursday 15 August.
Here at SBS we're hatching our own ambitious plans, to try and ease the pain of saying goodbye to our favourite TV obsession (for now). It's going to be a long wait before season four arrives in 2020, after all.
SBS Australia's award-winning and hugely successful Eyes on Gilead: A Handmaid's Tale Podcast, is here to help, with a free live event being held in Sydney's Marrickville on Sunday 18 August. Fiona, Natalie, Sana and Haidee will be there (with a potential guest appearance from baby Greta), to present a repeat screening of the all-important episode 13, followed by a live podcast recording to recap the entire season.
In the Eyes On Gilead finale, they will look back over the key events and characters of the series-so-far, and make wild, unfounded predictions about what Handmaid's 4 might hold.
