Thanks to Loreen’s historic win in Liverpool in 2023 with her song 'Tattoo' (previously winning in 2012 with 'Euphoria') Sweden will host the Eurovision Song Contest for the 7th time in 2024 having previously also staged the competition in Stockholm in 1975, 2000 and 2016, in Gothenburg in 1985, and in Malmö in 1992 and 2013.

The official slogan this year is once again, United By Music, and it has been decided to keep the slogan for all future Eurovision Song Contests. 'The Eurovision Lights' will serve as the theme art for the 68th Eurovision Song Contest, inspired by the vertical lines that permeate both the northern lights and sound equalisers.
