Netflix's Queer Eye is back for a third season, with all the tears and triumphs audiences have come to expect from the makeover show.

Not only that, but the heartfelt 'hero' updates have started rolling in - proving the significant impact an appearance on the popular show can have.

Two of this season's most memorable heroes, sisters Mary and Deborah Jones, have won a legion of fans after their restaurant, Jones Bar-B-Q, was given a slick makeover by the show's design expert, Bobby Berk.

The pair, from Kansas City, Missouri, took to social media this week to share that business had started to boom since their episode aired - with over 10,000 bottles of their specialty BBQ sauce sold.

“Let’s talk about the sauce,” they wrote on .
“As of yesterday morning, we sold 11,000 bottles. We averaged 1.7 bottles per minute this weekend. We are feeling so much love and support from all of you."

They added: "THANK YOU to everyone who ordered a bottle. Your support means so much to us! To all our friends from around the world asking for our sauce, we hear you! It is one of our goals to start shipping internationally soon.”

The women’s nominator, Deborah’s daughter, Izora, revealed on the show that the sisters had reopened their restaurant to help put her through college.

“Their work ethic, it’s hustler all day; it’s like a moving train,” she said.

“They are so willing to bend over backwards, and they’re always worried about everyone else... and I’m pretty sure they can’t do backbends anymore.”
