Season 3 of Queer Eye is set to feature the show's first makeover of a lesbian woman, responding to viewer feedback that the popular Netflix reality series should become more inclusive.

The revelation came from the program's style guru, Tan France, who hinted that the makeover is a highlight of the forthcoming third series.

"We have our first lesbian on the show this year - yep, and she’s formidable," France said where he made over Patriot Act host Hasan Minhaj.

He continued: "What we do with her, I think you’re gonna love it.”
The show's second season, released earlier this year, was applauded for including the makeover of a trans man and a woman - broadening the Emmy-nominated series' concept and audience.

Speaking to Minhaj, France also mentioned that the third season would feature “everything that you liked about Season 1 and 2, but amplified”.

“It really is so good," he said. "They get me every week, like, those heroes get me every week - yeah, it’s the best experience.”
