Brooke Lynn Hytes joins 'Drag Race Canada' as new judge

Drag Race runner-up and self-professed 'Queen of the North' Brooke Lynn Hytes has been announced as one of the permanent judges for the upcoming series of Drag Race Canada.

The drag queen will join Unreal star and fellow Canadian Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman no the panel, along with former Next Top Model mentor Stacey McKenzie.

Hytes took to Instagram to share the exciting news, describing the opportunity as a dream come true.

“I’m so excited as the time has finally come for the world to see the talent that Canada has to offer. Start those engines…and may the best Queen win!”

Bowyer-Chapman added: “I am beyond thrilled to be part of bringing this cultural phenomenon up north!”

Drag Race Canada is one of the new international versions of the popular reality TV series, joining Drag Race Thailand as well as the upcoming Drag Race UK and Drag Race Australia.

“I am proud to announce that the Drag Race family is expanding as Crave is about to begin production on Drag Race Canada,” RuPaul said .
