Australian-born actor and musician Keiynan Lonsdale has joined actor Ezra Miller in a high-fashion photo shoot for US , exploring the theme of 'camp' ahead of the 2019 Met Gala.

Lonsdale, 27, grew up in Sydney and got experience acting in shows including All Saints and Dance Academy before heading over to the United States, where he scored roles in Love, Simon and CW series The Flash. Now, he's gracing the pages of America's most iconic fashion magazine - an exciting feat for the up-and-comer.
In a series of stunning images by photographer Ethan James Green, Lonsdale joins Miller in a range of heels and gowns, expressing the notion of campness represented in Susan Sontag’s 1964 essay, 'Notes On Camp' which defined style as the “love of the unnatural” and coming "at the expense of content.”

In one of the photos, Lonsdale wears a 1995 powder-pink Vivienne Westwood gown.

Safe to say, the internet is... not coping.
“Everything flips upside down in this theatre of high drama,” Miller says in the accompanying Vogue interview, describing the camp aesthetic.

“It’s so easy to play it safe, but that’s not camp,” Lonsdale added.

The 2019 Met Gala will be held on May 6, before the opening of a coinciding costume exhibition at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art in New York City.
