The 22-year-old New Zealander finished fifth overall and won the young rider classification at this year's Giro Rosa, before placing seventh at La Flèche Wallonne in a series of impressive climbing performances.

Riding as part of the Equipe Paule Ka, before the relationship between the sponsor and team broke down late in the season, Harvey was one of the riders left to search for contracts elsewhere when the team announced it would fold.

Harvey was one of the standout young riders of the season, and confirmed a move to WorldTour squad Canyon-SRAM.
"There are many reasons why I was attracted to sign with Canyon-SRAM Racing," said Harvey. "It is a well-developed team with a professional and open-minded approach to racing."

"The team promotes positivity and an immense passion for cycling culture. I believe my style of riding will add to the team and it will be the perfect environment to continue my development."

After showing her ability during 2020, the sky appears the only limit on Harvey's career ambitions. Harvey's only current UCI win to her name was in the 2019 Tour de Bretagne Feminin, claiming the time trial there, but the potential exists for her to succeed on grander scales in the future.

"I have big aspirations for the Italian, Spanish and Ardennes races where I believe I can add a lot to the team," said Harvey. "I am a strong climber and can do a lot of damage on challenging courses.

"My favourite race of the season is Strade Bianche. I love gravel races, so this will be a huge goal of mine for next season."

Harvey will join the team alongside new arrival Neve Bradbury, with the Australian winning the recent Zwift Academy to begin her journey in professional cycling with the WorldTour squad.
