Illawarra Hawks v Melbourne United

1. Hawks back in Illawarra, Illawarra back in Hawks

The Hawks have 'Illawarra' back in their name in time for a top-of-the-table clash at home against injury-hit Melbourne.

2. Baba to step up in Goulding, Ili absence

Melbourne's Japanese recruit Yudai Baba impressed against last season's MVP Bryce Cotton last week and will need to big again as United's depth is tested with Chris Goulding and Shea Ili out injured.

South East Melbourne Phoenix v Perth Wildcats

3. Familiar foes

Phoenix and Wildcats have already faced each other in rounds two and three, with one win each. Phoenix won a thriller in the Jungle by a point last time, with Perth captain Jesse Wagstaff incredibly missing a wide-open lay-up for the win at the death.

4. Cotton v Sykes

Another fascinating match-up between two of the league's premier guards. Cotton posted 27 and 32 points in each of the last matches, but Keifer Sykes made some huge plays including picking Cotton’s pocket and scoring the go-ahead basket.

Sydney Kings v New Zealand Breakers

5. Home sweet home

It’s been almost a year since the Sydney Kings last played a game in their home venue in front of their home fans. This will be big!

The Breakers have lost three of their first four games, and at times last match the tension between star import Lamar Patterson and coach Dan Shamir was palpable, with Shamir admitting: "We’ve got good shooters (who are) not really making shots right now".

Brisbane's dynamic duo Nathan Sobey and Vic Law are second and third respectively on the NBL scoring chart, combining for over 50 percent of Bullets' points per game.
