Allira Potter was 17 when her Mum passed away from Melanoma. But before she passed, she gifted her daughter a deck of oracle cards.
That deck led the Yorta Yorta woman to the life she now lives.
A life of manifestation, gratitude, culture and creativity; and now she's got a book that details it all - Wild & Witchy.
Its an all-in-one guide to self-love, and its dedicated to her late mother.
“I wouldn't be the person I am today if she didn't give me all these experiences growing up, or shaped me to be this incredible human I am. This is all because of her,” she said.
"It was just a given that this was for her.”
It was only in January 2021 that Ms Potter announced she'd signed a book deal on social media. Now, just over a year later, Wild & Witchy is hitting shelves.
The book is an extension of the Allira Potter many have already acquainted themselves with.
"I always knew I was going to write a book, I just didn’t know the context of what I would write,” Ms Potter said.
“I decided that it’d probably be everything that I talk to on social media: self-love, spirituality, all of that in one book.”
Potter has an active following on Instagram, amassing forty thousand followers.
Wild & Witchy also explores Ms Potter's cultural identity and how she’s come to walk confidently two worlds.

“Being Indigenous, growing up with that identity, sometimes I did struggle,” she said.
“But I want to be the proof in the pudding, I love myself and I wouldn't want to change anything.”
The book gave Ms Potter opportunity to share her pride with others.
"Self-love and cultural identity really do go hand-in-hand,” she said.
“To create a book that says to First Nations women and men, we don't need to hide... we get to be ourselves – that is so powerful.”
Making it that extra bit more personal, Wild & Witchy features an eye-catching cover created by Ms Potter’s cousin, Yorta Yorta/Juru woman Shanai Kellet of Maloga Art.

"When Shanai came back with this piece, and I just knew. That was it, that was the book [cover],” said Ms Potter.
"It's so crazy, we often speak about how growing up we were such little brats and now look at us, we're both fully self-employed living our best lives.”
With Wild & Witchy available on Wednesday, Ms Potter hopes it offers people “exactly what they need”.
"I really want the message to be, that what I have achieved, you can do. It's all a mindset thing,” she said,
“If you can put yourself out there, if you have the resources, you can achieve anything, you really can.”
