One south Sydney great made history on the football field, the other made history on international music charts.

Both have come together to celebrate the place they love.
Former NRL star Greg Inglis gifted Kamilaroi rapper The Kid LAROI an old school jersey.

“Glad to present @thekidlaroi with an old school South jersey from an old school guy (me),” Inglis wrote on Instagram.

The Kid Laroi told me he'd go past Redfern oval back a few years ago and while we would be training, he was planning his dream about making music and performing on the big stage.

“Fast forward a few years and here he is absolutely owning it. Good to see he has returned back to where it all started.”
The 18-year-old returned to home soil for his End of the World Australian concert tour which kicked off in Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Thursday night.

During his time at home, the Kid LAROI donated $100,000 to the Waterloo Fact Tree Youth Service and brought everyone McDonalds.
