For those who may have thought Ash Barty's shock retirement would mean an end to, or at least a break from, her seemingly endless successes, think again.
The 25-year-old won the ladies' competition at the Brookwater Golf and Country Club in Brisbane’s outskirts on Saturday finishing first in a field of five women.
For her efforts, she was awarded the grand prize of $30.
It doesn't quite match the spoils of her recent efforts on the tennis court, which saw her become the 14th highest earning female player of all time, and one time receive a Porsche on her 25th birthday.
It has added fuel to the fire of eager observers who have speculated the Ngarigo woman could return to the sporting stage in another of her fields, golfing or cricket.
Barty sports a handicap of 4 and has golf in the blood: her mother and father were representative golfers at the state and national levels respectively.

Her fiancee, Garry Kissick, is also a professional golfer.
It's not even the first time Barty has enjoyed success at the club: in September 2020, Barty won the championship at Brookwater Golf Club, where she had originally met Kissick in 2016.
On that occasion her form was even remarked upon by legendary American golfer Tiger Woods, who was said to remark: “She’s got a great swing, are you kidding me?” after Barty lofted a wedge into Melbourne’s Yarra River.
