Tackling the plastic waste threat in the Pacific Ocean

Plastic pollution is one of the biggest threats to the marine environment. Floating in the Pacific Ocean, between California and Hawaii, is the largest accumulation of trash on earth - 90 million kilograms of it. A Netherlands-based not-for-profit says it can clean up the mess. But some experts say the focus should be elsewhere.
