Hours ago an revealed that former federal assistant minister Wyatt Roy was involved in a deadly firefight between Islamic State and Kurdish Pashmerga forces in Iraq.

Roy says he “wanted to visit and see for myself, in a way that I really couldn’t have done as a member of parliament.”
