Univision anchor Ilia Calderón was interviewing the North Carolina Imperial Wizard of the Loyal White Knights, Chris Barker, and his wife for a series on the KKK in the United States.
As the camera rolled, the interview quickly turned hostile with Barker telling Calderón that she was the first black person to step on his land in 20 years.
He then proceeded to racially abuse the reporter.
"Are you going to chase me out of here?" Calderón asked the KKK leader.
"No, we're going to burn you out," Barker replied.
"He's not saying physically to you," Barker's wife Amanda added.
"Physically we are," Barker said. "You're sitting on my property now."
"I do understand that I'm probably the first black immigrant person here," Calderón responded.
"To me you're a n****r and that's it," Barker said as Amanda laughs in the background.
"I find that offensive," Calderón snapped back.
Southern Poverty Law Center estimates there are 917 Hate Groups operating in the United States with 130 KKK groups in 2016.
The organisation also shows there has been a rise in the numbert of hate groups since the year 2000.
