Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has described women who don't have children as "deficient" and "incomplete."
The comments are the latest in a string of controversial remarks by Mr Erdogan, as he attempts to encourage women to boost Turkey’s population.
Addressing Turkey's Women and Democracy Association in Istanbul, Mr Erdogan said he supported women having successful careers, but that it shouldn’t be an “obstacle” to motherhood.
He urged Turkish women to have at least three children.

"A woman who says ‘because I am working I will not be a mother' is actually denying her femininity," Mr Erdogan said.
"A women who rejects motherhood, who refrains from being around the house, however successful her working life is deficient, is incomplete ... Rejecting motherhood means giving up on humanity."
Earlier this week, President Erdogan called on Muslims to reject contraception and have more children.
The father of four has previously described birth control as “treason.”
Mr Erdogan’s AK Party has its roots in Islamism and many of its supporters are conservative Muslims.
