The SXSW (South by South-West) festival has been taking place in Austin, Texas, since 1987. This represents its inaugural venture overseas, with Sydney, Australia as the chosen venue.
During the SBS Urdu video forum, Shailja Kejriwal, the producer of the collaborative web series, expressed her enthusiasm for the series being featured at SXSW in Sydney.
The web series "The Pink Shirt" is produced by Shailja Kejriwal, written by Beegul and directed by Kashif Nisar. Aactors Wahaj Ali and Sajal Ali are in the leading roles. Kashif found the script intriguing and contemporary and Writer Beegul described "Pink Shirt" as a simple tale of complex relationships with a universal narrative of emotions. Ms Kejriwal told SBS Urdu that she had previously worked with this Pakistani team and had been an admirer of their work for a long time. _____________________
