Last year, Lana Barker, a make-up artist and mum of four from Melbourne, decided to go back to her favourite activity and try to conquer the local scene as a DJ. Together with her friend, she created a DJ duo that later grew into a group of young DJs. It currently has 20 members. Lana organises private parties, plays in clubs, and continues to work as a makeup artist, including at Fashion Week.

In this interview, Lana talks openly about her personal story and how her return to music became possible after her divorce.

“A lot has changed in my life. I know I have only myself to count on. I love myself and take care of my body. After the divorce, I lost a little more than 30 kg and ran my first marathon. I'm trying to live my life to the fullest,” says Lana.
