Mayor of the Hume City Council Helen Patsikatheodorou opened the event by praising the work done by Oorja Foundation. She also distributed certificates to the community participants and supporters of Oorja Foundation.
Community members who are regular participants of programs run by Oorja Foundation performed poetry, cultural dance and singing.
Oorja Foundation runs ongoing Punjabi Cultural Groups targeting community from newly arrived backgrounds and is providing them a platform to meet their new community learning foundation skills.
Oorja Foundation is also running Dance and Fitness classes for Men, Women and children in Craigieburn and Epping regularly.

At this event founders of the organisation Ajit Singh Chauhan, Nayana Bhandari and founding members Sanjay Bhandari, Navin Chopra, Harman Chopra, Saahil Luthra shared their passion and vision for the community. Ajit introduced new team members from Epping area Judgebir Singh, Amardeep Kaur, Jagroop Sidhu and Kirpal Singh.
At this event Anmol Cancer Foundation also launched their partnership with Oorja Foundation to support the victims of cancer and raise awareness in the community.
ਮੈਲਬੌਰਨ ਦੀ ਹਿਊਮ ਅਤੇ ਵ੍ਹੀਟਲਸੀ ਕੌਂਸਲ ਅਧੀਨ ਵੱਖ ਵੱਖ ਭਾਈਚਾਰਕ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਊਰਜਾ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਵਰੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਜਸ਼ਨ ਵਜੋਂ "ਜੀ ਆਇਆਂ ਨੂੰ " ਸਮਾਰੋਹ ਕਰੇਗੀਬਰਨ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ , ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਰਸ਼ਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰੀ ਭਰੀ, ਊਰਜਾ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਲੋਂ ਕਲਚਰਲ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਅਤੇ ਭੰਗੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਫਿਟਨੈੱਸ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਏਪਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਕਰੇਗੀਬਰਨ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਲਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਇਕ ਇੰਡੀਅਨ ਵੁਮੈਨ ਸੋਸ਼ਲ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਕਰੇਗੀਬਰਨ ਵਿਖੇ ਵੀ ਚਲਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ
ਇਹਨਾਂ ਗਰੁੱਪਾਂ ਦਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮਕਸਦ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਾਂਝੀਆਂ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੱਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਪਹਿਲੂਆਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਕੰਮ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਭਾਈਚਾਰੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਖੜੀਆਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ , ਇਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਿਵਾਰਕ ਹਿੰਸਾ , ਤਣਾਓ ਵਰਗੀਆਂ ਵੰਗਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਿਹਤਮੰਦ ਸਮਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਸਿਰਜਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ
ਸਮਾਗਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਾਊਂਡੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਲੋਂ ਚਲਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਗਰੁੱਪਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਲੋਕ ਨਾਚਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪ੍ਰਚਲਿਤ ਨਾਚਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਕਵੀਸ਼ਰੀ , ਗਿਟਾਰ, ਕਵਿਤਾਵਾਂ ਛੋਟੇ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਪਰੰਪਰਿਕ ਪਹਿਰਾਵੇ ਦਾ ਦੌਰ ਵੀ ਖਿੱਚ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਰਿਹਾ
