India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj who’s known for her swift response to compatriots in distress, has whipped her wand yet again.

This time she has come to the aid of a groom-to-be in the US, who has lost his passport in Washington and now risks missing his own wedding.

As a last resort, Devatha Ravi Teja implored to Ms Swaraj on twitter, seeking her help in procuring a new passport ahead of his wedding in India on August 13th.

“You’re my only hope”, tweeted Mr Teja, who is scheduled to travel to India on August 10th.
Wasting no time, Ms Swaraj lovingly called “supermom” by netizens in India came to his rescue.

She wrote, “You have lost your Passport at a very wrong time. However, we will help you reach for your wedding in time”.
Ms Swaraj passed his request over to Indian Ambassador to the US, Navtej Sarna asking him to help the man and expedite his passport issuing process on “humanitarian grounds."

The groom-to-be later thanked her for her help.
Time and again, Ms Swaraj has won the internet with her quick governance and quirky responses to citizens approaching her for her help.

This one time she responded to a distressed appeal of an owner of a faulty fridge saying “Brother I cannot help you in matters of a refrigerator. I am very busy with humans in distress”, a hilariously honest response that has since been retweeted nearly 8,000 times and liked by over 10,000 people on twitter.
