In the final part of the second series of My Kurdish Language Is My Identity, we speak with Jeremy Fowler a non-Kurdish speaker about his thoughts on the language and his opinion on standardising the Kurdish alphabet. Jeremy Fowler is British who has lived with his family in Dohuk, Kurdistan Region for more than 10 years. He was an English language consultant and former Kurdology lecturer at Newroz University. During his stay in Dohuk, he learned the Kurdish language, which he speaks fluently now. He is also a writer and researcher
