Rising cost of living pushes Australians into homelessness

Every year, Homelessness Week is held with the goal of bringing attention to the difficulties that more than 122,000 Australians face when they become homeless on any given night. "Homelessness Action Now" is the theme for Homelessness Week in 2024. Australians who may not have imagined they would face financial difficulties are turning to support services for assistance as the country's growing cost of living continues to put financial strain on its citizens.
