CCTV video footage has been released of a woman being savagely attacked by a teenager at Melbourne’s Hoppers Crossing train station last week.
The video shows a young woman being head-butted by a teenager.
The teenager then pushes the woman against a wall and punch her several times.
Another girl and boy attempt to pull him away before being punched in the stomach.
The teenager finally retreats.
It is believed that the same teenager was involved in a separate attack at a nearby supermarket.
Police say that at the Hoppers Crossing Woolworths he tried to assault a man and steal his phone and wallet.
The teenager is reported to be of Pacific Islander in appearance with a black “mullet” haircut.
