Benzi Brofman is an international street artist. He has been painting the faces of those who were affected by the war in Israel. Just by chance, on October 6 he was invited to paint a nature party at 'Reim' music festival. Luckily, he decided to leave just couple of hours before the war began.

Benzi strongly feels that the haunting visual quality of the graffiti captures the horror of October 7 better than any words.

The haunting painting below is of the tragic Siman Tov family. Son Johnny, daughter in law Tamar and grandchildren Shahar, Arbel and Omer lost their lives on the 7th of October in their Kibbutz, Nir Oz.

Staff Sgt. Shirel Haim Pour, 20, a soldier in the Gaza Division from Rishon Lezion, lost her life at 'Nahal Oz' IDF base on October 7. Instead of hiding, Shirel kept fighting and helping the other soldiers until the bitter end. Shirel’s family came from Iran.

The amazing Iranian graffiti artist, Hooman Khalili, joined Benzi to paint brave Shirel
