The couple celebrated in their own way the anniversary of the 200 years since the Greek Revolution, dedicating the most important day of their lives to it.

Specifically,  their wedding followed all of the customs and traditions of the the revolution era, including the costumes of the groom, the bride, the best man and close friends.

Many of the costumes, the heirlooms and chariots they used are authentic, and date back to the era of the Greek Revolution.
The wedding of Mr. Apostolos Costarellos and his now wife, Arianna originally from the Ural Mountains of Russia, took place in the Byzantine Church of Porta Panagia outside Trikala.

The groom started from his village, Gorgogiri, "armatolos", wearing a traditional costume and on his horse arrived with friends and best men, after 3 hours of travel in the forest, to the Temple in order to perform the ceremony of their union.

There, he welcomed the bride who arrived in a carriage of the time, the like of which has never been seen again in Trikala.

This was followed by the performance of the Holy Mystery with the presence of a few guests, due to the measures in force for the coronavirus.
