Mr. Assel, in collaboration with other scientists, developed a lip-reading model, LipNet, a system that looks at video without sound, noticing how people talk.
The important thing is that it can guess what the person is saying with 93% accuracy, watching the movement of the speaker's mouth. Additionally, Assael, in his latest project uses neural networks in order to restore missing parts of ancient Greek texts.

Next on the list is also Mrs. Marianna Kapsetaki from Heraklion, Crete.

She is a doctor, a researcher, and a classical pianist. She is in the process of completing her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience at Imperial College London, and has already made numerous publications in major international scientific journals.

"You learn about all the medical problems that those involved in the performing arts have," she explains.

Mr. Kapsetaki is conducting one of the largest studies on spatial memory in patients suffering from stroke.
