This week, the Garma Festival is taking place, Australia's largest indigenous get-together. On this occasion, the Chief of Police of the Northern Territories, Michael Murphy, spoke out to the indigenous people of Australia about the injustices and damage done to First Nations Australians over the past 150 years. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese also provided information on the future direction of Indigenous policy following the failure of last year's voice referendum.
