A Filipino culinary experience will take place in Melbourne in celebration of Independence Day, titled ‘Flavours of Freedom’.

  • Flavours of Freedom aims to feature delicious Filipino cuisine using Australian produce and to serve it not only to the Filipino community but to the entirety of Australia.
  • This event is supported by the Philippine Consulate General in Melbourne and the Philippine Department of Tourism, along with the Filipino Chefs Association of Victoria.
'Flavours of Freedom' will happen on the 12th and 13th of June to celebrate the Philippine Independence Day in Melbourne. The event on the  is a collaboration among chefs from the Philippines, namely Chef Rolando Laudico, better known as Chef Lau, and Chef Jac Laudico of Guevarras restaurant, together with Chef Fhred Batalona from Melbourne.
