吉朗快速铁路（Geelong Fast Rail）、悉尼至纽卡斯尔快速铁路升级项目、新英格兰公路（New England Highway）以及the Truro Bypass等 50 个项目将不再获得联邦政府的资助。

政府还削减了昆州和新州的通勤停车场项目，这些停车场在一份审计长报告中受到批评，被工党称为政治分肥。

一些附近的项目将被归入交通廊道项目中，另一些项目则将被进行商业探讨，同时剩余的现金将留作未来建设之用。
