The Imam of Asansol, Mohammad Imdadullah has lost his young son last week due to the violence in that area. After the lynching of his son, he delivered a message of peace. His message was so strong that State Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) president Dilip Ghosh on Sunday said that, his "actions are praiseworthy".
"He has set an example by calming down the crowd and controlling emotions. Even after the death of his son ensured that the situation did not go out of control." Mr Ghosh told .
