Mulada Aprim has been in Australia for two months after migrating with his parents from Iraq. He plans to continue his studies in peace and human rights, which he began in Iraq. In his first appearance within the community, Aprim recited a poem in honour of Assyrian Martyrs Day, which was warmly received by those attending the Assyrian Democratic Movement's commemoration event.
